Grilled Salmon

Today I'm making one of my favorite salmon recipes!
1. 1 lb salmon filet
2. Garlic powder
3. Lemon pepper
4. Salt
5. 1/3 c brown sugar
6. 1/3 c water
7. 1/3 c soy sauce
8. 1/4 c vegetable oil
Step 1: Season salmon filets with garlic, Lemon powder, and salt to taste. I usually put the salmon in a Pyrex container but you could also just use a plastic bag.
Step 2: Combine ingredients in a small bowl and stir until brown sugar dissolves. Pour mixture over salmon and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Tonight, I ran out of soy sauce so I was thankful we keep the packets when we order Chinese :)
Now, I rarely start dinner early enough to let it sit for 2 hours so if you only have 1 to spare or even 30 minutes it still tastes great!!
Step 3: you can cook the salmon however you like. We grill the salmon for 15 minutes on medium heat flipping halfway through.
We usually make a rice dish and asparagus for a side. Paired with a nice white wine this really makes salmon taste so good!
